It has to be the worst (one of) aircraft to put on the tarmac. Float ......................................................smash.
Ok, I get it that the MCDU is bobby dazler but the flight stuff is surely wrong. Just want the FBW 320 to work with MSFS 2024.
Happy to be enlightened on the landing technique.

The Fenix A320 - Ok so why do people rate it so much

The professional Airbus pilots commonly say the Fenix is the closest to the real thing in terms of flight model.
It's probably just down to knowing the flare speed for the weight and weather conditions, and watching the vertical speed as you rotate.

There's a lot of rubbish spouted about landing rates online.
Professional pilots will tell you that anything less than 300 is fine.
Anything less than 100, and you're actually at risk of doing damage to the aircraft.
The "trucks" on airliner landing gear are designed to be "planted" into the floor. If you don't then can begin to wobble - violently enough that it can wreck the landing gear.
I once saw a video of it on YouTube - of an airliner deliberately not planting it's gear - so one side of a truck touched before the other, and started to wiggle...

Thanks
You are so right. As a pilot I always strived for a good landing and succeeded up to a point. I had a few poor landings when conditions made it a real challenge.
In the sim world "the landing rate" is overrated. Virtual Airlines rating us on our landings and giving points for it. Foolishness!

There is actually a "soft landing" fine in the airline here
I am aware of that fine sadly! Had to pay it a bit too much of late.
I have dropped off the leader board at Stanstead with my recent landings.
I am not after silly soft landings, as you point out Jon, they can be just as bad as thumpers, but do need to get in the 300 sub 300 mark for airliners.
Keep on practicing ....
