Hi,

I am a software developer most of the time (do some building maintenance costing as well) who started flight simulation on one of the original IBM XT pcs around 1989 I think, which had a 4 number serial code and on which I played playing Falcon after hours in the office. Since then I have played most of the military simulators with my all time favourite being Red Baron. The graphics were very basic but the game play I thought was amazing. Falcon 4 is another favourite with its dynamic missions. I always kept away from the civils stuff until a year ago and now I am hooked on them.

Making the leap from MSFS 2020 to 2024, as despite the glitches, it is the way forward for me I think.

Currently on my third trip round the globe in real time stopping at some favourite airports, but mostly new ones.

VirtualFlight.Online has given me a sort of purpose to my simulated flying and was worried that the issues with MSFS 2024 would kill it dead, but fortunately Jonathon and the team have managed to give it new life and I am very grateful to all involved.

I am hoping that this forum takes off as I am not a fan of Discord but it will be what it will be I guess.

Happy flying all.

Tim
